ABOUT GERMANY IMMIGRATION THROUGH JOB SEEKER VISA

The Job Seeker Visa is a long-term residence permit that allows you to look for a job for a period of 6 months. With this visa, you can visit Germany and attend interviews, which is a much better process than applying for a job from abroad. ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

Professional and Academic Qualification

• You must have a minimum 6 months of experience and 15 years of education and the qualification and university must be H+ as per Anabin.
• Applicants from Nigeria must have 16 years of regular education either 4 years Bachelor’s degree or 3 years Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s degree.

Proof of Funds

• A blocked account (Sperrkonto) showing you have a minimum of EUR 947 (equivalent to NGN 1,634,077.78 as of March 2024) per month. OR
• A formal obligation letter (Verpflichtungserklärung) which costs 5, 000 euro

Accommodation

Applicants must show accommodation proof for the 6 months duration

Cover letter

A cover letter detailing how you plan to find employment in Germany, your future career plans, and what you plan to do if the job search is unsuccessful.

Proof of travel insurance

You must provide proof of having travel insurance

Civil status documents

You need to submit civil status documents such as your:

Marriage certificate.

Family certificate.

Birth certificate.

NPC birth certificate, Declaration of Age deposed to by head of Family
